The extension

Open a shop on Etsy and the extension shows its Sposedly score in the corner, with what buyers said underneath. You get the answer where you are already standing, instead of remembering to come here first.

What it sends

One request, to sposedly.com, asking what we know about the shop whose page you are on. It carries no cookies, no account and nothing about you, because none of that is needed to answer a question about a shop.

It does not read your browsing. It runs on an Etsy shop or listing page and nowhere else, and it stores nothing.

Shops nobody has read

Open one we have never looked at and the extension says so, and the shop goes to the bottom of our queue. That report carries the shop's name and the figures printed on its own page. Nothing it sends can reach a number the score is worked out from.
